I had my first tournament this week which was the Cornwall Open. Didn't do quite as well as I wanted in the singles, was knocked out in the second round 21-18 in the third. I thought I threw the game away as I was 11-9 up in the final game. I also played mixed doubles with Vikki Jones in the tournament where we just missed out on a spot in the semi-finals due to the American scoring that was being played. We won all of the 5 matches that were played in the group but lost 2 games, and the couple that had got through had lost their match against us but only lost 1 game. Overall i thought i took a lot out of the tournament and was quite happy with the way that I performed throughout the day.
