Badminton Europeans

Last week I played in my first senior european badminton championships. I qualified for all 3 events playing doubles with Rachel and mixed with Richard.
First up was my singles against Larisa Griga from Ukraine. I played ok but was disapointed with my lack of consitency and struggled getting used to the slow stadium losing 21-12 21-11
Next up was the mixed where we beat Belarusians 21-16 21-10. Then in our last 16 match we had the strong German badminton pair which we lost to 21-18 21-14, but we played quite well and was competetive in alot of rallies.
The doubles we lost to czech top pair, we were quite disapointed with our performance as we were unable to control rallies and consitent.
Overall it was a positive tournament and was great experience for me. I now have a few weeks of hard training untill the Sussex elite in May
