2010 was year filled with highs and lows in my badminton. The best experience of my career going to the Delhi Commonwealth games at the age of 17, I had the chance to play the world number 2 which is a experience I will never forget. I had 2 good 3 setters against players above my standard which I was pleased with but at the same time gutted i didn’t finish the 3rd sets off as a win would have been a lot better!! In May I went through the hardest few months for my badminton after a long season and hard training I fell ill with glandular fever after a few misdiagnoses I wasn’t back on court fully training for 2 and a half months, I was gutted as I had plans for a really hard summer training, but luckily I recovered quickly and I’m finally feeling my fitness back to a high level. 2011 will be tough with training and tournaments along side my final year of A levels, but I am really looking forward to playing in the European Juniors and also some EBUs.
