The Richard Vaughan Badminton Academy (RVBA) is pleased to support the latest important WWF campaign “A push for change for Polar Bears” and their “Adopt a Polar Bear” Christmas present

WWF launched a concerted push in 2009 for big conservation wins for polar bears, set firmly in the context of the battle against climate change. This continues in the Christmas period with the Adopt a Polar Bear campaign, the perfect Christmas present.

The actions the WWF take include providing support for and communication of key science that will help us build resilience; engaging with indigenous/local communities to reduce human-wildlife conflicts and work towards sustainable development opportunities; and drafting and spearheading management solutions that address the major threats of climate change and industrialization of the Arctic.
