The RVBA’s Vikki Jones reached the semi final of the Cornwall Open last weekend, losing to English No3 Rachel Howard 21-11 21-10 who went on to win the tournament. Vikki won her first three rounds comfortably. A great opening tournament for the season.

Gareth Day won his first round against Tony Wong 21-12, 21-15, and then lost to David Edgar 19-21, 21-16, 21-19.

In the mixed doubles the pair teamed up and in a complicated group setting finished 3rd.
