Badminton Wales - Aimee Moran

 The RVBA supported by Memory Lane Cake's Aimee Moran won the Mid Glamorgan Welsh Satellite Series Badminton Open played at the Glamorgan University Sports Village. The Mid Glam Open is one of several tournaments in the Badminton Wales Circuit.
Moran won all her group matches against experienced opposition, before losing the finals in straight sets against Helen Stoddard.
RVBA coach Richard Vaughan commented "Its a great win for Aimee but I would expect nothing less. Hopefully Aimee can go on and build on this in the upcoming badminton tournaments.

Aimee's next tournament is the Swiss u17 Badminton Open next weekend.
This weekend the RVBA's Richard Vaughan and Sarah Thomas are playing in the Spanish badminton league for Madrid, against title rivals La Orden. Sarah Thomas will be up against Europe’s Badminton Number 1 u17 player Carolina Marin.
