The National Badminton Satellite Finals took place at Flash Leisure Centre, Welshpool on Sunday the 28th March 2010. Players from across Wales and England have been competing in badminton Satellite Series tournaments throughout Wales, picking up ranking points on their way.

Those players/pairs finishing in the top 4 places of the South and North Wales regions made it through to the National Satellite Finals.

The RVBA’s David Evans along with partner Rhys Mallows have made a big impact this season in the badminton Satellite Series. The pair continued their great run winning the U15 Doubles title defeating Saksham Bansal and Liam McGivern 15/11 15/7 in the final.

The pair was also unlucky not to medal in the U17 event.

Also this week the RVBA’s Tsung Fong Mo the triple National Junior Badminton Champion from last week was selected for the Welsh Badminton Team for the U15 Quadrangular to be held at Llanelli on 23rd - 25th April.
