The weekend started off well in the Under 11 event with the RVBA’s Gean Sou Mo sponsored by Sotx win the Girls Singles and Doubles in convincing style.

Gean was closely followed by her brother Tsung Fong who won the boys singles in the Under 13 event, then the boys doubles, and teamed up with his sister Gean to win the Mixed Doubles giving both three titles on the weekend.

Gean almost claimed a forth title losing in three close games in the u13 Girls singles final.

In the older events Aimee Moran recovering after some ten days with the flu did well reaching the final of the Under 19 Girls Singles Final, losing in a close final. Sophie Trerise won the u17 plate title to round a great weekend off for the Richard Vaughan Badminton Academy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

So a great result for all RVBA players, one up on National Junior Badminton Titles from the five last year, and adding to the two Welsh senior National Badminton titles.
